Debbie Durant, B.A., earned her bachelor’s degree in early childhood education and psychology. She has worked in early childhood education for over 15 years, and has been at Capital City Community Center since 2003. She is certified by the RI Department of Education in Early Childhood, and has completed RIELS Level 3 Certification Ms. Durant is a certified CLASS Observer and a CDA Advisor, and has completed the Infant/Toddler Academy training. Ms. Durant was named Rhode Island Early Childhood Educator of the Year in 2012.
